Having professional chair massage at your event can prove to be a great motivator for people staying longer than normal. Massage makes your visitors more relaxed and comfortable. We're repeatedly told by event coordinators that once their guests have received massages from us, it's one experience that stands out and is requested for future events. It's a great diversion to more normal activities people expect to see at festivals and fundraisers.

Our first official event as Kilted Massage was at the Louisville Irish Fest, September 13 & 14 on the Belvedere in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. On Saturday we had a huge response from visitors and volunteers alike! Having three therapists was a bonus and seldom did we have more than one or two people waiting for massage. Sunday was the exception. After seeing the weather forecast we decided not to set up and that was a wise decision. The edge of hurricane Ike ripped through town between 11 am and 4 pm and left over 300,000 without power, ripped up trees all over the county and did damage to the site of the Irish Fest.

It goes without saying, it would have been a rough day to wear a kilt!
